Where are you based?
I live in Oslo, Norway.
Where's your favourite place to ride?
I went to Mallorca once and I must say that place is cycling paradise. So many small roads to choose from, endless possibilities to ride flat roads, lots of awesome climbs, good weather. All in all though, being on the bike, wherever, that's what makes me happy.
What type of riding do you like to do the most?
I really like longer, all day rides on my road bike. Being on the bike fills me with such joy and I don't think I can ever get tired of it. Covering long distances, seeing the landscape shift, stopping for coffee or a snack or to fill the water bottles - it's all part of what makes riding a bike such a pleasure.
Seeing as there's limited time because of work and other obligations, I more often than not go on shorter rides though. I also do some interval training.
How do you discover a new route? Do you plan ahead with maps or just see where the road takes you?
A little bit of both. I love looking at maps and seeing other peoples routes, but I tend to put in small variations to routes I already know.
What equipment do you use to capture your ride?
I sometimes bring my Sony RX100 III on rides. If not I always have my phone with me and use that.
What destination would be on your riding wish list?
I hope 2015 will bring a lot more exploring in and around Norway. There's quite a few places I'd like to ride here that I've yet to check out. I'd also like to do some randonneuring.
