Where are you based?
Vänersborg, Sweden.

Where's your favourite place to ride?
I mostly ride in the area of Sweden called Dalsland that starts just north of Vänersborg and it's the best that Sweden has to offer. It's not the most exciting place in the world, but I haven't grown tired of it yet. If you like endless gravel roads with almost no civilization this is the place for you. The only thing missing are long climbs, because the highest point is only 302 meters. Other than that I'm easily won over by most places as long as there's not much people or cars, because I guess I like the quiet.

What type of riding do you like to do the most?
Long all-day rides. I like it when you really feel like you've been managed to go somewhere far. One of the best things around here is taking the morning train for 40 minutes towards the Norwegian border, then you have endless possibilities for good routes back down to Vänersborg.

How do you discover a new route? Do you plan ahead with maps or just see where the road takes you?
I like the planning part, so it's almost always planned ahead. But I love trying new routes, even if it's just small variations. I usually draw up the route in ridewithgps.com and transfer it to my Garmin. Then once I have the route in there and can follow it, I usually don't. Haha.

What equipment do you use to capture your ride?
Most of the time I bring my Sony RX100. It fits in a jersey pocket and is easy to handle on the bike.

What destination would be on your riding wish list?
My wish list for 2015 looks like this (in order of likeliness to happen): Jotunheimen & the Ålesund area in Norway, Paris-Brest-Paris, some form of climbing in the Alps, Iceland & the US west coast.
