Where are you based?
Dresden, Germany, which is in the near of the striking Saxon Switzerland.
Where's your favourite place to ride?
The Dresden Heath is a place i really enjoy riding through. Actually there also runs my way to work through.
Sometimes I start my working day one or two hours earlier to begin with a long and sporty ride through this wonderful and mountainous forest full of fairy places and paths.
I also love the roads here. Sometimes, like on days off or at the weekend, I catch my road bike and set forth for Saxon Switzerland.
Dresden is really the perfect place for all kinds of bike loves and I often don't care where the road leads to and which of my many bikes is placed under my bum.
I love riding all of them. Everywhere.
What type of riding do you like to do the most?
I have no favorite type of riding. I am able to enjoy a short distance to the next supermarked exactly like a 150 km trip. MTB, Roadbike or cyclocross. Being outside, breathing fresh air, enjoying flora and fauna. That's the main thing.
How do you discover a new route? Do you plan ahead with maps or just see where the road takes you?
I don't really plan my trips. I discover new routes by taking the turnings which looks nicer to me. That's the whole secret.
What equipment do you use to capture your ride?
I solely use my mobile, a Sony Experia Z3.
What destination would be on your riding wish list?
To join the Transcontinental Race, which starts somewhere in Europe (every year another starting point) and leads to Istanbul under total self-sufficiency (you plan the route, you get your own food, no support-car) is one of my biggest dreams and goals! One day!
