Where are you based?
Where is your favourite place to ride?
Nice - blue skies, mild climate, great climbs, going for a post-ride swim in the sea and the best fresh food you can imagine.
What type of riding do you like to do the most?
I love the climb although I'm far from being a good climber. During wintertime it's 1 hour flat out cyclocross racing.
How do you discover a new route? Do you plan ahead with maps or just see where the road takes you?
Depends on the place and time. When abroad I tend to plan ahead with maps. And sometimes you stumble upon new routes on various cycling related websites or via Strava. And then there's this day where you end up at that junction again and wonder why you have never taken that left hander before. Shortly after following that gut feeling you are being washed up on this stunning road you probably would have never touched surface if it wasn't for that decision you made.
What equipment do you use to capture your ride?
I used to bring a Canon Ixus but ever since I got the iPhone 6 I tend to leave the Canon at home.
What destination would be on your riding wish list?
Too many to list so I just go with the first one that pops into my head: riding the stunning Atlantic Ocean road in Norway and climbing Alto de Letras, a 80km ascent, in Colombia.
